Charles is a Bristol-based Director of Photography and emerging Director with a unique background — before filmmaking, he served as a British Army sniper. That experience shaped his calm, focused leadership style and ability to thrive under pressure.
He cut his teeth building the Army’s first in-house video team, and now shoots documentary, commercial, and narrative work with a style rooted in story and human connection. From lean, agile crews to large-scale branded shoots, Charles is known for staying composed in challenging environments and bringing a collaborative, grounded energy to every set.
